The worst defense
Two teams conceded the same staggering total of 88 goals, eighteen more than RWDM, the worst Belgian student: Sheffield United and AEZ Zakakiou. The Cypriots having played three more matches than the English, the prize therefore goes to the red lantern of the Premier League which has just allowed Burnley and Vincent Kompany (1-4) to restart with a view to maintaining. The 2.67 goals conceded per match also make Sheffield United the worst defense in the history of the twenty-club Premier League. Derby County's record (89 goals conceded during the 2007-2008 season) should thus be largely beaten by the end of the championship.
The worst attack
The future relegated to the Championship fortunately makes up for it with his goals scored (31). An exercise in which others have completely failed. The Croatian club Rudes (13 goals) and the Maltese club Gudja United (12 goals in 24 matches) are thus the worst in terms of total and average: 0.43 goals scored per match for the Croatians; 0.5 for the Maltese. Never victorious in 28 matches (23 defeats and 5 draws), the last of the Slovak championship also has the worst total points (5) and the worst average (0.18 points per match). To the great dismay of the 1,200 brave people who continue to go to the stadium. They have three games left to get rid of this label of worst team in Europe.
