Stardew Valley player KillerWhitman00 was in a co-op multiplayer run when their partner player’s character passed out during an in-game cutscene, and the two shockingly watched as their in-game finances were boosted by an astounding 100 million gold. Normally, when passing out in Stardew Valley, players will lose a portion of their finances, as well as a randomized selection of items in their backpack. Multiple bug fixes for Update 1.6 have been released in patches 1.6.1-6, but some fans are hoping this golden glitch will remain intact. Community members have joked that the bug is so rare that it may be more fun to leave it in the game as a random chance at hitting the jackpot. Others are hoping that ConcernedApe will address the issue, as the glitch could inadvertently have the opposite effect and leave some characters completely destitute.
Patches For Stardew Valley Update 1.6
ConcernedApe has released six separate patches for Stardew Valley since the launch of Update 1.6 for PC in March. Some of the patches have added even more content, while a majority of the fixes have addressed bugs related to gameplay and graphics. Numerous translations and localization adjustments have also been included in the Update 1.6 patches, mostly addressing Russian and Chinese, among other languages. While fans are still awaiting Stardew Valley Update 1.6 for consoles and mobile, ConcernedApe is hard at work ensuring that any bugs encountered are quickly patched out.
