With Intermarché-Wanty, he has the opportunity to put his big engine into action in one-week stage races and some classics, in addition to a role of free electron on the Grand Tours. He has the ability to win a stage there, he hasn't gone far on the Tour. This will be our ambition.“
Zimmermann has two victories to his name. He competed in the Vuelta in 2020 and the Tour de France for the past three years, finishing second on stage 10 last year.
