The top performers on the MDAX were Wacker Chemie O.N. (ETR:) which rose 3.35% to 109.65, HelloFresh SE (ETR:) which was up 2.18% to settle at 6.83 and LEG Immobilien AG (ETR:) which gained 1.45% to close at 74.28.
The worst performers were Befesa SA (ETR:) which was down 5.66% to 33.00 in late trade, Aixtron SE (ETR:) which lost 4.59% to settle at 21.40 and Redcare Pharmacy NV (ETR:) which was down 4.30% to 129.00 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Suess Microtec NA O.N. (ETR:) which rose 6.51% to 43.35, Qiagen NV (ETR:) which was up 1.19% to settle at 37.47 and Hensoldt Ag (ETR:) which gained 1.02% to close at 37.58.
The worst performers were Aixtron SE (ETR:) which was down 4.59% to 21.40 in late trade, SMA Solar Technology AG (ETR:) which lost 3.36% to settle at 45.96 and Atoss Software AG (ETR:) which was down 3.03% to 240.00 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 354 to 251 and 30 ended unchanged.
