Flèche Wallonne: Belgians Dylan Teuns and Maxim Van Gils among the favorites in the absence of Tadej Pogacar (Live at 1:40 p.m.)

Dylan Teuns (Israel-Premier Tech), winner in 2022, recent 8th in the Tour of Flanders and 2nd in the Flèche Brabançonne, could well see himself taming the Mur de Huy for the second time. Another Belgian, the young Maxim Van Gils (Lotto Dstny), is also high on the list of men to watch, as is Tiesj Benoot (Visma-Lease a Bike), 3rd in the Amstel Gold Race, and the duo from Soudal Quick-Step Ilan van Wilder and Mauri Vansevenant, the latter having finished 4th in the Amstel.

The winner of the Amstel Gold Race Tom Pidcock (INEOS Grenadiers) has, for its part, the explosiveness necessary to win on the Wall. Second last year, the Dane Mattias Skjelmose (Lidl-Trek) will be a serious customer. The Frenchman Benoît Cosnefroy (Décathlon-AG2R La Mondiale), winner of the Brabant Flèche, his compatriots David Gaudu and Romain Grégoire (Groupama-FDJ), the Russian Aleksandr Vlasov (BORA-hansgroje) and the Ecuadorian Richard Carapaz (EF Education -EasyPost) are other outsiders.
