Crowding at bakeries, shops and gas stations in Baalbek

A Lebanese report said today, Tuesday, that grocery stores and supermarkets in the city of Baalbek are witnessing an active movement of customers to stock up on basic materials in anticipation of the coming days, and the possibility that the open war that has been on the rise since yesterday, Monday, will continue.

The National News Agency reported today that “bakeries have been witnessing crowds buying bread since early morning.”

She pointed out that queues of cars lined up in front of stations to fill their tanks with fuel, or to obtain gallons of gasoline for private electricity generators.
