Lebanese Health Minister Firas Abiad announced on Tuesday that the death toll from Israeli airstrikes has risen to 558 dead and 1,835 wounded.
Al-Abyad said that among the dead were 50 children and 94 women, pointing out that this contradicts all the lies that Israel said that it was targeting combat forces.
He pointed out that the vast majority, if not all, of those killed or injured were unarmed civilians, noting that the number of hospitals that participated in receiving the injured reached 54 hospitals.
A Lebanese report revealed today, Tuesday, that grocery stores and supermarkets in the city of Baalbek are witnessing active movement of customers to stock up on basic materials in anticipation of the coming days, and the possibility that the open war that has been on the rise since yesterday, Monday, will continue.
The National News Agency reported today that “bakeries have been witnessing crowds buying bread since early morning.”
She pointed out that queues of cars lined up in front of stations to fill their tanks with fuel, or to obtain gallons of gasoline for private electricity generators.
