BNXT League: Antwerp secures second place during its “Night of the Giants”

With these results, Antwerp (32 points) definitively secures its second place in the provisional Elite Gold ranking (for the Belgian part), behind Ostend (33 points), while Charleroi (30 points) is now assured of finishing in the first four, which is not yet the case for Limburg (now fourth with 29 points) which is ahead of Liège (28 points) by a single victory with two matches still to be played.

In Elite Silver, Brussels won 91-82 against Kortrijk while Louvain won over Leeuwarden (81-60) as did Aalst over Feyenoord (103-75). Behind Louvain (32 points), Brussels (30 points but one more match) is provisionally tied with Mechelen and Mons who host the last two in the standings this Saturday. With two days to go, the Brussels club is not in control of its destiny.
