World of Warcraft: Dragonflight offers many ways for players to gear up in Season 4, with items such as the Antique Bronze Bullion helping players power up quicker and enjoy the expansions last season. This includes the Revival Catalyst, a helpful way to get tier-set gear without the hassle or stress attached.
To ensure players know how and where to use this helpful feature, we’ve compiled all the information you’ll need in this guide.

Bags in The War Within could be providing more than an extra inventory slot for World of Warcraft players, as a new type of bag has been datamined.
What Is The Revival Catalyst In Dragonflight?
The Revival Catalyst is an endgame system that allows players to convert non-tier set gear into tier pieces, which come with tier set bonuses that can give players additional power or effects on their abilities.
It requires an item called Renascent Awakening, which players are given once a week after the weekly reset. Player characters get 9 for the season per character. Each conversion costs 1 Renascent Awakening.
How To Unlock & Where To Find The Revival Catalyst
To unlock the Revival Catalyst, all players need to do is complete the quest Reviving the Machine, found at the top of the Seat of the Aspects in Valdrakken and given by the stone NPC, Watcher Koranos, at coordinates (54.6, 41.0). This quest has you fly to Antuka at the Revival Catalyst, located at coordinates (60.6, 53.8), and hand in the quest.
Players will then be able to use the Catalyst to convert their gear. If players have done this quest in previous seasons, they don’t need to do it again, but they will on any new character that reaches the Dragonflight expansion.

How To Use The Revival Catalyst In Dragonflight
To use the Revival Catalyst, players need to interact with the Catalyst to open the UI, giving them the option to select a piece of gear. Once selected, the UI shows what the gear will become, retaining its item level. If you are happy with it, click transform and confirm, and the gear will change into your new item.
Note that to get a tier set piece, you will need to transform the Head, Shoulder, Chest, Hands, and Legs armor, and crafted gear cannot be altered. The process is also permanent, so be sure before making the change. In addition, any gear from past seasons can be converted for transmog purposes, so players can get all the appearance they want, so long as they have eligible gear from that season.
