Gamers will come across various interesting characters in Mass Effect 2, and they can interact with some of them and pursue side quests to find out more about their lives and stories. Omega is a dark place with tons of shady people, and they’ll also ask for Commander Shepard’s help – it is up to the player to decide if they’re worth their time.

Players must decide if they want to help the asari and the enamored krogan on Illium in Mass Effect 2.
Once players complete the mission on Horizon, they’ll be able to talk to a salarian named Ish, who is standing next to another salarian near the Omega docking area. Ish will ask the player to find two packages for him, one on the Citadel and another one on Illium – this guide will walk gamers through the Omega: Packages for Ish side mission in Mass Effect 2.

How to Find Ish’s Package on Illium
To find Ish’s package on Illium, gamers will have to head to Eternity, the bar on the northeastern part of the map. The package can be found at the edge of the sofa on the upper left side of the bar.
To get to Eternity in
Mass Effect 2
, fans have to turn right once they’ve exited the Normandy, and move forward until they’ve walked past the Trading Floor. Then, they must go up the stairs on the eastern side of the room. On the other side of the corridor, they’ll find the entrance to Eternity.
How to Find Ish’s Package on the Citadel
When Ish passes the information along to the player, he only mentions that the package on the Citadel can be found near Marab’s shop; there are several different shops on the Citadel, so it will definitely be more difficult to track down.
Marab is a salarian in Mass Effect 2 who works at Saronis Applications, a store on the 26th level of the Citadel. To reach it gamers have to take a left after walking past C-Sec, and then go down the stairs to the lower level – it’s the first shop on the left. Players will be able to find Ish’s package outside the Saronis Applications shop, on top of a white crate.
What Should You Do with Ish’s Packages?
Upon retrieving the packages, gamers will be able to pry and learn useful details from each of their datapads, which contain alarming information on Anto, a batarian working for Aria T’loak.
It seems that Anto is working behind his boss’s back, which could put him in serious trouble if it ever got out. Ish is known for handling information, and if players bring one of the Cerberus operatives in their squad while talking to him, they will mention how they’ve worked together and the fact that Ish is both shady and a liar.
Taking all of this into consideration, gamers must decide how they’d like to deal with the situation. There are two ways to handle Ish’s packages in Mass Effect 2:
- Go to Anto, the batarian:
- give him the packages (Paragon points)
- sell him the packages (Renegade points)
- incentivize him to assassinate the salarian (Renegade points)

, players must visit the Afterlife bar, and climb up the stairs on the right, as if they were going to talk to Aria.
