Where To Find Garden Gnomes

In Fallout 76, Garden Gnomes are ceramic statues resembling goblins, available in red and blue variants. While primarily regarded as junk items yielding ceramic and concrete, they gain unexpected value during certain Weekly Challenges.

One such challenge requires players to locate five of these decorative statues to earn 1250 S.C.O.R.E. points. Here’s a guide to assist Fallout 76 survivors in completing this task and acquiring Garden Gnomes.

Best Locations To Search For Garden Gnomes In Fallout 76

best location in fallout 76 to farm garden gnomes is huntersville.

An ideal location for obtaining Garden Gnomes is Huntersville. Behind the welcome sign at the zone’s entrance, there’s an abandoned house to the right with a small backyard. Players can typically find up to seven Gnomes in the garden shack of this house.

Another spot to explore for Garden Gnomes is The General’s Steakhouse, particularly behind the parking lot where flamingo statues are scattered around. In this abandoned garden, players can retrieve at least three Red and Blue Gnomes. (They might also stumble upon a full set of Power Armor in the nearby shack.)

If these two locations fail to provide players with sufficient Gnomes, they should head to a lesser-known area in Fort Defiance. Staying on Road 107, players will come across a dead body on the sideroad with two to four Gnomes around it.

Additional Garden Gnome Spawning Locations

  • Gnomes’ Allotment (Savage Divide): Check behind the shack.
  • Vault-Tec Agricultural Research Center (The Forest): Look in the greenhouse and explore inside the facility.
  • Watoga High School (Cranberry Bog): Search the rooftop and surrounding areas.

As a general rule, greenhouses, gardens, and abandoned shacks throughout Appalachia are worth checking for Garden Gnomes. These locations are most likely to have at least one Gnome tucked away around a corner.

Besides the “Collect a Garden Gnome” Weekly Challenge, Gnomes serve no specific purpose in Fallout 76. Players are often advised to salvage them for Ceramic and Concrete when crafting structures. However, since players on Fallout 76 servers share the same resources, it’s considered considerate to leave extra Gnomes for other survivors. Otherwise, they may resort to server hopping, which can be frustrating.

On a related note, if players cannot locate Gnomes in the previously mentioned locations, they can try switching servers. To do so, they must return to the main menu and log back into the game. While server hopping isn’t a guaranteed method for finding Gnomes in spawn locations, it’s the quickest option available.
