Trinity Mementos are Quest Items in Remnant 2‘s The Forgotten Kingdom DLC that play an important role in the acquisition of the Echo of the Forest amulet. That function is not immediately apparent upon collecting a Trinity Memento, though, and some players may be confused about how to put the item to use. This guide is here to alleviate that confusion, and full details on Remnant 2‘s Trinity Memento can be found in what follows.
Remnant 2: What to Do With Trinity Mementos (& Location)
After obtaining a Trinity Memento, Remnant 2 players should return to Ward 13 and speak with Dwell, the Pan that is located near the World Stone. Once that conversation has been initiated, fans should select “the lost tribe is real,” indicate that they “brought proof of the lost tribe’s existence,” and hand over the item.
Remnant 2: How to Unlock Invoker Archetype
This guide details all the steps that players must take if they hope to unlock the Invoker archetype in Remnant 2’s The Forgotten Kingdom DLC.
Dwell will state the item is just “one piece of a larger whole,” and players must now set their sights on obtaining two more Trinity Mementos. To do this, fans will need to reroll the Forgotten Kingdom’s campaign twice, as every roll of the campaign is a source for one Trinity Memento.
More specifically, players will always find a Trinity Memento in the Luminous Vale, a map that is accessed after encountering Lydusa in Remnant 2‘s The Forgotten Kingdom DLC. That said, the item does not always appear in the same position, and fans will need to thoroughly explore the Luminous Vale if they hope to find it. To assist with that exploration, here are maps and images that showcase two positions in which the Trinity Memento is confirmed to spawn:
Once a player has collected a second Trinity Memento, they should return to Ward 13, give the item to Dwell, reroll the Forgotten Kingdom campaign, and repeat this process again. Upon providing Dwell with a third Trinity Memento, the Pan will offer the Echo of the Forest, and fans should feel free to equip this new Remnant 2 amulet through the character menu.
To note, while some players will be happy just to receive the effect provided by the Echo of the Forest, the amulet can actually be used to obtain a hidden Remnant 2 weapon in the Forgotten Kingdom. Specifically, the Echo of the Forest opens a path that leads to the Trinity Crossbow. While this guide will not cover that process in detail, in an attempt to minimize spoilers, players should keep this secondary use in mind when exploring the DLC’s maps.
