“What is described as ‘anti-French sentiment’ is a matter of rational political struggles”

At each political demonstration on the continent, speeches critical of France are immediately placed in the box of “anti-French sentiment”. Since 2018, the expression has become widely used, particularly in the media. It is also a subject which would have become central in political reflections with regard to France's African partner countries.
