Belgium is hoping for Olympic qualification in each of the five events: the women's 4x100m, the men's 4x100m, the women's 4x400m, the men's 4x400m and the mixed 4x400m. The first 14 in each discipline will be able to go to the Games. The last two tickets will be allocated based on the times of the season which begins.
The only surprise of the selection is the presence of young Kylie Lambert (19 years old) and Liefde Schoemaker (21 years old) with the Belgian Cheetahs.
Paulien Couckuyt, who is working on his return after a torn cruciate ligament, is not included.

- Men's 4x400m: Dylan Borlée, Jonathan Borlée, Kevin Borlée, Alexander Doom, Christian Iguacel, Florent Mabille, Jonathan Sacoor, Robin Vanderbemden.
