The Montagne en Scène Festival promises an exceptional 2024 summer edition

Another film not to be missed is “Sea to Summit” directed by Alastair Lee. For 38 minutes, spectators will be transported to the heart of Greenland alongside Bronwyn Hodgins and Jacob Cook. Between tough objectives and fabulous landscapes, this unique story promises an intense visual and emotional experience.

“Blue in the Skin” by Jérôme Tanon is also on the program. This 35-minute film follows the incredible challenge of Seb Berthe and Hugo Parmentier who attempt to complete 100 7a boulder routes in Fontainebleau in a single day, from sunrise to sunset. A burlesque and epic adventure that testifies to the passion and determination of climbers.

Finally, “Subterranean” directed by François-Xavier de Ruydts immerses spectators in the mysterious world of caving. For 43 minutes, the film follows Franck Tuot and his team in British Columbia, as they aim to discover the largest cave in Canada by connecting different networks of galleries. A captivating exploration that pushes the boundaries of underground exploration.
