On April 19, 2024, an event entitled “Women's Stories” will take place, around 4 speakers: Souad Fila, Florence Hainaut, Ihsane Haouach and Nadine Rosa-Rosso.
Why not have four women present their book at a conference? And that two of them are veiled, and the other two are ardent defenders of the right to wear the veil everywhere, does not constitute a problem either.
But a small detail caught my attention: the logo of the FWB, that is to say the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, appears on the poster of the event, which is organized by the “Collectif pour l’inclusion and against Islamophobia in Belgium” (CIIB).
In other words, he benefits from the support of the FWB. Moral support? Nay! The CIIB receives an annual grant of 25,000 euros as part of the promotion of citizenship and interculturality! And that’s still intriguing.
