The timing site announced just over 500 finishers, which was a little below the numbers from previous years. Despite this, we were still treated to a typical atmosphere for this race which is played like in an amphitheater. It resonates, it shouts, it applauds… and it motivates! The public was particularly numerous, occupying the steps from the bottom to the top!

The BueRun is a 7.8 km race that starts at the foot of the formidable steps and ends at the top of them. Or three grueling climbs, solo or in pairs, which leave indelible marks on the body.

The currently fit runners were present and met expectations.

As for results, a great victory for Clément Dandoit in 35'55 for the men's solo race. He is 14 seconds ahead of a former winner, Johan Goubau. Among the ladies, still solo, victory for Séverine Vandermeulen, who, accustomed to trails and long formats, engaged in a new exercise. She is at the top and has accumulated podiums this season. She completed her course in 44'45. The first male duo to cross the line was the pair Anthony Peelen – Clément Reul. The first 100% female team was made up of Marie and Elise Coosemans. On the mixed team side, the title went to the pair made up of Manon Crielaard and Hugo Baivier.
