Highlights

  • Use shock grenades in enclosed spaces to deal with hordes of enemies and carry enough slugs for EVE’s gun.

Stellar Blade is an action-oriented game in which players take control of EVE, who is on a mission to uncover the biggest mysteries in the world. While Stellar Blade is not a soulslike game, it is by no means a walk in the park, especially when players are competing at the highest of the two difficulties.

Aside from her suits, EVE can also wear different earrings and glasses. These items are available in shops for varying prices. Earrings and glasses do not serve any other purpose except for customizing EVE’s appearance.

Unfortunately, these items cost Vitcoins. They cannot be purchased with gold, which is the regular currency in Stellar Blade. Players can find Vitcoins inside breakable boxes and as rewards for completing side quests.

Sometimes players will receive a Nano Suit, but in order to use it, they will first need to craft it. This requires a certain amount of Polymer Material, Advanced Polymer Material, and Extreme Polymer Material. These materials can be found inside chests and in other places. In case players still fall short, they can buy them from Kaya’s shop in Xion.

Unlike Nano Suits, Exospines are not cosmetic items. In fact, they can improve EVE’s abilities. There are many kinds of Exospines, and once players find the two that suit them the most, they should upgrade them. In order to enhance Exospines, players need to gather Nano Element, Advanced Nano Element, and Extreme Nano Element. All three can be found within chests, in the overworld, and by defeating enemies. Luckily, they can be purchased from D1G-g2r’s shop.

4 Shock Grenades

Currency Needed: Gold

Stellar Blade: Shock Grenades

Often in Stellar Blade, players will find themselves facing a horde of enemies. In the open world, it won’t be a problem as players can just run past them. However, in an enclosed space, things are completely different. In an area such as Matrix 11, players will have to deal with enemies in congested spaces.

Stellar Blade: 7 Tips To Master The Combat System

Stellar Blade is packed with riveting action that will keep players on their toes. Here’s how to master the game’s intricate combat system.

If they are not careful, they could end up dying, after which they might have to cover a lot of distance. One of the better ways to deal with a massive number of enemies is by making them fall to the ground. Players can use shock grenades to achieve this particular effect. Once the enemies are downed, players can take their time to heal or deal damage to their foes. Shock grenades cost 400 gold, and players can carry up to three (the limit is increased to four if they find enough cans).

3 Slugs

Currency Needed: Gold

Stellar Blade: Slugs

Slugs are ammunition for EVE’s gun in Stellar Blade. Depending on the drone upgrades, players can carry up to 50 slugs with them. Players will be using EVE’s close-range abilities in combat most of the time, but there are certain situations where it is more beneficial to use the gun.

If there are too many enemies in an area, players can lure them by shooting at them. In certain situations, slugs are required to complete challenges and to open new pathways. They can be purchased for very little gold, and so players should always carry enough slugs.

2 Vitcoins

Currency Needed: Fishing Data

Stellar Blade: How To Buy Vitcoins

In the early part of the game, players will use Vitcoins to mainly activate camps across the different regions. They will find the Vitcoin required to activate a camp nearby. As they progress through the game, they will learn that Vitcoins can be used to buy rare items such as Nano Suits, earrings, and glasses.

Each item has a different rate, with the Nano Suits being more expensive. Players should prioritize buying the outfits first, as there is a trophy for collecting 30 of them. When they have bought all the outfits, they can pick between earrings and glasses at their own leisure. Vitcoins can be purchased from Clyde in the Great Desert.

1 WB Pump

Currency Needed: Gold, Fishing Data

Stellar Blade: WB Pump

WB Pump is one of the most useful items in the game. It can be used to revive players if they die in battle. Sometimes, when the camps are too far, players can use WB Pump to revive so that they don’t have to cover so much ground once again.

It can also be utilized to revive when players are fighting against a dangerous Naytiba. If they die when they are extremely close to killing the enemy, it is better to use a WB Pump to revive EVE and finish the job.
