There are a total of 20 Origami Birds in Penacony Grand Theater in Honkai: Star Rail.
In various locations throughout Penacony in Honkai: Star Rail, players will encounter a special NPC known as the Great Tree Origami Bird. These NPCs are often accompanied by hidden Origami Birds scattered across the map, typically in sets of either 10 or 20. Players must uncover these hidden birds to unlock additional rewards, such as Stellar Jades, from the corresponding Great Trees after meeting certain requirements or completing specific tasks.

In the newly added area of Penacony Grand Theater, introduced in the version 2.2 update, players will discover a total of 20 hidden Origami Birds awaiting discovery. While many of these birds are concealed within the main area of the theater, others are cleverly concealed within special entrances, such as those found in Act II of the Trailblazer story quest’s Penacony Grand Theater finale, within Hanu’s Adventure, or nestled within the three Dreamscape zones scattered throughout the area.
Keeping track of the Origami Birds can be quite beneficial for players, even though the ones in Penacony Grand Theater are not overly concealed. One method is to count the number of birds visible around the Great Tree or to check the marker on the map, which displays both the quantity of birds found and the associated rewards.
For players having difficulty locating the remaining birds, seeking hints from the Great Tree in exchange for an Aideen Token can be advantageous. This will mark a radius on the map, helping players in their search for the remaining elusive Origami Birds.
Penacony Grand Theater Origami Bird Locations in Honkai: Star Rail
There are a total of 13 Origami Birds that can be found in the main area of Penacony Grand Theater, without needing to enter any special instances (like the Dreamscapes etc.)
- Confused Bird: Investigate the Robin Poster slightly north on the left side of the Space Anchor at the Ascension Hall.
- Inspector Bird: Continue going straight ahead from this point, go up the stairs, and on left side find the bird hidden on the helmet of an armor.
- Seed-Sowing Bird: Slightly back at the first room to the left side, the bird is hidden in the pipes with flower bed, behind Olma. Yank it three times.
- Door Guard Bird: Teleport to the Space Anchor in the middle of the map, go left, and turn to the first corridor that goes towards the Great Tree to find it just at the turning corner.
- Dancing Bird: Continue to the corridor, and at the wider area before the stairs, find the bird on the model statue’s feet. Yank it three times.
- Drink Lounge Bird: Move to the room with Great Tree, and find the next bird on the bar, hidden in a menu.
- Bel Canto Bird: Move to the most top left corner of the map. Find the bird on a dark colored structure and Interract with the bird three times: Yank, Hop and Jump High.
- Vibe Bird: Move back to the middle of the map, and this time head towards the right side. The bird is right past the corridor that heads to the room with Hanu’s Adventure. Yank three times.
- Bearded Bird: Now head inside the corridor, and find the bird in the first wide area before stairs, on a corner as a moustache of a poster.
- Dragon Tamer Bird: Head upstairs to the room with Hanu’s Adventure. The TV to switch to Hanu’s Adventure has the Origami Bird hidden in it. In order to be able to access to it, players will first need to complete all Hanu’s Adventures prior, up to Part 3 Chapter 2, and then defeat the boss inside this particular Hanu’s Adventure. Once players enter the Hanu’s Adventure again, they can interact with the TV in Hanu form and collect the bird. (The video shows
- Enjoyment Bird: Head to the room with the Dreamscape and Aymille nearby, and find the Origami Bird on the couch.
- Time-Telling Bird: Head to the other set of stairs from the right side of the map, go down, and find the bird on a clock in the corner.
- Supporting Actor Bird: Go to the right side of the map following the road from the Echo of War, and find the bird hidden in the top corner inside a sign post.
The remaining 7 Origami Birds can be found inside the 3 Dreamscapes and the special location where Act II takes place in Penacony Grand Theater, near Great Tree.
- Adventure Bird: In the first Dreamscape, where Act I took place (left of middle space anchor), head downstairs, and then upstairs to on the right, and find the bird on a red balloon.
- Mediator Bird: In the same Dreamscape, continue downstairs from the next set of stairs and find the bird on the red frame with the fighting scene on the next stairs.
- Studious Bird: Head to the next area, where Act II took place (special room near Great Tree), and find the bird right at the entrance on a yellow frame with a person playing piano.
- Vain Bird: In the same area, head to bottom right the circle area with many mirrors, where players will find a red balloon looking at itself in the mirror.
- Riddle Bird: Head further from this point all the way to the end portal, where players will find another red balloon with a Origami Bird reflection on the mirror.
- Perfect Bird: Head to the next Dreamscape, where Act III took place (right of middle space anchor), and find the bird close to the entrance on a Red Balloon. Shoot it with a range attack to be able to collect it.
- Dizzy Bird: Enter the nearby Dreamscape after talking to Aymille, and find the last bird by the end portal, on a Red Balloon near a Bountiful Treasure.
