Penacony Grand Theater Treasure Chest Locations In Honkai: Star Rail

Honkai_ Star Rail – Penacony Grand Theater Main Area Treasure Chests Map

Penacony Grand Theater treasure locations can be divided into multiple groups, primarily based on if it is accessible through it’s main map, or whether players will need to go into the Dreamscapes to do so.

Penacony Grand Theater Main Area Treasure Chests

Most chests in the Main area are easily findable, as they are not particularly hidden. There are in total 12 Basic Treasures, 2 Bountiful Treasures, and 1 Precious Treasure to find, but not all count for the total chest amount.

  1. At the most southern point, if players turn back from the Space Anchor at the bottom of the map.
  2. Head back north near the Space Anchor, and enter the first corridor to the right, and find it on the south east corner of the map.
  3. Go back to the main corridor with the Space Anchor, and find it a little ahead on the right side, before turning to the corridor on the left side.
  4. From the previous chest, turn towards the left corridor, and find the next chest at the far end of the room.
  5. Continue following the large corridor, and head past the curtain to get to the next Space Anchor, located in the middle of the map. From this point, turn left, and turn left again to the first corridor, to find the first Bountiful Treasure from the enemies.
  6. Continue heading to the room where the Great Tree Origami Bird is, where players will find the Basic Treasure on a nearby corner.
  7. Open the curtain on the north east of the same room, to find the next treasure chest ahead.
  8. Teleport to the middle Space Anchor and head towards the Dreamscape where Act I of the Trailblazer quest took place. The chest is located on a raised platform overlooking the theater.
  9. Go back to the room with the Great Tree and leave the room through the north exit by the Space Anchor to find the next chest on the end of the first corner before turning to the main area.
  10. Follow the next corridor and head towards the main area past the curtains, and head north on the left side of the map. Solve the jigsaw puzzle to find the next Bountiful Treasure.
  11. On the other end of this northern bit, straight ahead from the previous chest, find the Basic Treasure on the raised platform.
  12. Head back to the middle Space Anchor, and this time head towards the right, and find the treasure on the main large section overlooking the theater, similar to #8.
  13. After grabbing previous treasure, head south and enter the corridor, where Hanu’s Adventure is located. Past the curtain, players will find the Precious Treasure protected by enemies.
  14. Next chest is at the same room as Hanu’s Adventure, on a far corner.
  15. Last chest can be found on the other corridor exiting this room, in front of a poster with a man.

Penacony Grand Theater Dreamscape Treasure Chests

Finding all the Dreamscape Treasure chests in the Grand Theater is a little bit more difficult due to the Dreamscape being much more dizzying to navigate. This time, there is also a new mechanic to navigating the Dreamscape. There are in total 4 Dreamscapes in this area, with the first 3 being in the same order as Act I, Act II and Act III during the Trailblazer quest. Players will stumble upon most of these chests as they follow along the storyline. The last Dreamscape is located in the same room as Hanu’s Adventure.

First Dreamscape to head to is the Act I, which is located left of middle Space Anchor:

  1. First chest in this area is directly visible upon entering the Dreamscape, on the right side, before going upstairs.
  2. For the second chests, players will need to head upstairs, and then go downstairs from the next set of stairs to reach to the next platform.
  3. After the previous chest, head more downstairs and obtain a bubble charge. Next, move the Dream Module to align with the platform to go vertical to the next platform. After doing so, head ahead and upstairs, and bubble charge again. The next chest is accessed through the vertical platform right infront of the bubble charge, at the end of a dead-end platform.
  4. Go back down, and head to the Dream Module nearby to move the platform to align with the other vertical platform. Then head to this newly aligned platform and go vertically, and follow the relatively straight route ahead to find the next chest by a set of enemies.
  5. Continue moving forward from this point onward and obtain bubble charge again. Then use the Dream Module to align the platform below to be able to reach the next chest. Players will not need to use their bubble charge for this yet.
  6. After doing so, go back upstairs, and find the bubble route that takes players to the other angle 180 degrees on the next platform. Repeat the same again on the next bubble route to find the bountiful treasure ahead. With this, players will complete all chests in this Dreamscape and can exit through the nearby exit point.

Second Dreamscape to head to is the Act II, which is located in the same room as the Origami Bird Great Tree:

  1. Unlike the other Dreamscape’s this room is designated as with a normal exit logo and much more straightforward as it doesn’t have any Dream or bubble mechanics. Most of the chests in this area is also Bountiful Treasures and players will need to complete puzzles in order to be able to move forward. First of the treasures is located on the southern corridor after passing the first circle platform.
  2. After this point, head towards the left (by the map) corridor and head upstairs. Second Bountiful Treasure is located on the corner before moving to the next corridor.
  3. Head upstairs to find the next circle area, and at the end of it by the mirrors find the third Bountiful Treasure.
  4. From this point, head back near the start, and go through the stairs to the next level of this map. Here players will find a Basic Treasure.
  5. The last treasure in this area is a Bountiful Treasure, near the Basic Treasure albeit even further downstairs, going back from the last location.

Third Dreamscape to head to is the Act III, which is located right of middle Space Anchor:

  1. This Dreamscape is a little more complicated than the other two, as the path isn’t as straightforward. Obtain the bubble charge ahead upon entering and heading downstairs, and then head left for the first bubble path point to go vertically. Go vertically one more time, and find the first chest ahead towards the left, near a Dream Module.
  2. Refresh the bubble charge and move the Dream Module to right to gain access to the next vertical platform. Go vertical once again to find the next chest on the right side of this platform.
  3. Use Dream Module to move the platform to access the next chest ahead.
  4. Then, use the other Dream Module to align another platform with the bubble road, to be able to go 180 degrees to the next platform. Here, players will find a Bountiful Treasure right ahead.
  5. Head back near the first Dream Module near the first chest, and this time, move towards the other side downstairs, and use bubble road vertically twice to end up at the platform with marble looking floors. Past ahead the Bubble Charge, go back down the stairs. Here, players will need to use bubble road twice again to end up at the next set of platforms, and then once more to do the Dream Jigsaw. This will unlock a Bountiful Treasure.
  6. After obtaining the Bountiful Treasure, go past the green button once it is pressed, and head up one more time on the nearby vertical platform to find the last chest, a Basic Treasure.

Fourth Dreamscape is unlocked after talking to Aymille in the same room with Hanu’s Adventure:

This Dreamscape has 3 chests in total as well as two Origami Birds. Watch the video above for a full walkthrough of this specific Dreamscape, as with many directions to possible to go to at a time, it can get quite dizzying and confusing to traverse.

Penacony Grand Theater Hanu’s Adventure Treasure Chests

The Hanu’s Adventure in this area is only unlocked after players obtain all chapters (up to Chapter 3, part 2) in various locations of Penacony. Once this is done, players will be receive a quest, and unlock the Hanu’s Adventure in this area. This mini-game essentially doesn’t take players to a new area, but instead unlocks the chests on the spot, once the quest mission is completed. In order to complete the mission, players will need to defeat the Boss Stone’s Steely Gator. To be able to do so, players need to obtain the Hanu Launcer, and hit the explosive present boxes when Boss is near them, to be able to stun him and also defeat nearby enemies. Players need to make sure to hit him 3 times with the 3 explosives nearby. The explosive in the middle is not on boss’s normal walk route, so players will need to kite him there to be able to defeat it. Once defeated, the quest will complete, and players will unlock 2 Basic Treasure and one Precious Treasure, among other rewards such as an achievement.
