Settlers attack students and teachers in a school in Jericho

Palestinian sources reported that “settlers attacked students and teaching staff at the Arab Al-Kaabneh Elementary School today, Monday, in the Al-Ma’arjat area, northwest of the city of Jericho in the West Bank.

The Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA) quoted the sources as saying that “armed settlers attacked the Arab al-Ka’abneh community in the al-Ma’arjat area, beat an elderly man, stormed the elementary school and beat the students and teachers before detaining them.”

She added, “There is a state of panic and fear among citizens, especially women and children.”
The Red Crescent said in a brief statement that “its crews dealt with three injuries from assault by settlers, and they were transferred to the hospital.”
