T + T – Normal size

The Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip announced the killing of at least 18 people during the night and early Monday morning, including ten who died in an airstrike on a house in the central Gaza Strip.

A medical source at Al-Awda Hospital confirmed that “the number of martyrs has risen to ten, and 15 others were injured… in a missile attack on the Al-Qassas family home in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.”

For his part, the spokesman for the Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip, Mahmoud Basal, confirmed the number of dead, indicating that the raid took place on Monday morning.

According to Basal, six people were killed in a second airstrike overnight on a home belonging to the Basal family in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City.

In a separate raid, two people were killed, the Civil Defense said in a brief statement.

The Civil Defense said, “Two martyrs and a number of wounded were killed in an Israeli missile attack that targeted the Abu Shaar family’s house north of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip. They were transferred to the Gaza European Hospital in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.”

The Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip continues relentlessly, with no prospect of a ceasefire agreement and the release of hostages held there in exchange for Palestinian prisoners held by Israel.
