Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.29% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the gained 0.29%.

The best performers of the session on the were Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (TADAWUL:), which rose 7.69% or 2.20 points to trade at 30.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (TADAWUL:) added 6.78% or 1.28 points to end at 20.16 and United Cooperative Assurance Co (TADAWUL:) was up 5.68% or 0.60 points to 11.16 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (TADAWUL:), which fell 5.27% or 1.85 points to trade at 33.25 at the close. National Medical Care Company (TADAWUL:) declined 4.21% or 8.40 points to end at 191.20 and Saudi Ceramic Co. (TADAWUL:) was down 3.91% or 1.45 points to 35.60.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 163 to 118 and 22 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.21% or 0.17 to $82.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.41% or 0.36 to hit $86.93 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.44% or 10.40 to trade at $2,398.80 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.04% to 4.00, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 105.81.
