Manni L. Perez and Dylan Rourke may be the Grand Theft Auto 6 lead actors, according to a newly surfaced rumor. While Perez has long been speculated to portray Lucia, Rourke is a new name not mentioned in any past GTA 6 reports.

Game Rant has previously identified one Joseph Connors as one of the potential GTA 6 lead actors. That’s according to Connors’s now-removed online resume, which saw him disclose involvement in an unnamed Rockstar project slated for release in 2025. The CV stated that the actor had been hired in a “lead” role, suggesting he is either playing Jason or some other prominent character, like the game’s main antagonist.

Grand Theft Auto 6’s world-famous reveal trailer is laser-focused on one character, but that probably isn’t representative of the final product.

Dylan Rourke Is GTA 6 Jason, YouTuber Claims

A new report from YouTuber LegacyKillaHD indicates that the former scenario is out of the question, with the content creator claiming that the GTA 6 role of Jason went to American actor Dylan Rourke, citing “a reliable source.” Reflecting on Game Rant’s previous scoop, the YouTuber said he was unfamiliar with Connors and could not attest to his involvement in the game. He also claimed that American actress Manni L. Perez is set to portray Lucia, citing the same unnamed source.

LegacyKillaHD has a modest track record of Rockstar-related scoops to speak of, so this rumor should be treated with a degree of skepticism. And as far as its suggestion that Perez is involved in the game is concerned, that sentiment is nothing new, as fans have identified her as the potential GTA 6 Lucia actress within weeks of the game’s first trailer dropping in early December 2023.

Regarding the alleged Jason actor claim, Dylan Rourke does appear to fit the profile of a talented but lesser-known artist that aligns with Rockstar’s contemporary casting strategy. But one signal that he may not be the one playing Jason is that his IMDB profile reveals he’s been keeping busy in recent times, averaging two acting, writing, or executive producing credits a year for the past half a decade. Being involved in a gigantic project like GTA 6 in a lead actor capacity would ostensibly result in a skinnier resume. This is what happened to Roger Clark, who managed to get involved in just one, usually minor project a year over the six years it took to record all of Arthur Morgan’s voice lines for Red Dead Redemption 2.

Based on historical precedent, the game’s lead actors are unlikely to be officially confirmed until around the time of its market debut. GTA 6 is currently targeting a 2025 release.
