A talented Pokemon fan has shared what a Mega Evolved Talonflame could look like if it were to be introduced. Mega Evolutions were first introduced to gamers when Pokemon Xand Y were released on the 3DS in 2013. The feature was short-lived as the mechanic was dropped from the mainline series when the Pokemon franchise moved to the Nintendo Switch.

The news that Mega Evolutions would return in Pokemon Legends: Z-A excited players as the battle mechanic remains one of the most popular features in the franchise. As it stands, there are 48 different Mega Evolutions available in the Pokemon franchise, and the announcement sparked debate within the community, leading players to speculate on which monsters could be next to get the Mega treatment.

Macksi_ has also included two additional color pallets for the Mega Evolved Pokemon, one that is a deeper red to Talonflame’s normal appearance, and one that adapts the striking blue and black color scheme of Mega Charizard X.
