Pecco Bagnaia wins epic Spanish GP after tough duel with Marc Marquez

After having pushed the local hero Jorge Martin into a mistake, the double world champion had to resist against a Marc Marquez of the great days. The former Honda driver, who hasn't won for two and a half years, harassed the Italian and managed to find the opening on several occasions, the two thieves even coming into contact!

But in the end, Bagnaia kept the upper hand over his elder brother to achieve his 20th victory in MotoGP. Marquez had to settle for the silver medal but the Gresini driver nevertheless received a warm ovation from the crowd. The Italian Marco Bezzecchi completed the podium on behalf of the VR46 team.

Behind Alex Marquez on the other Ducati Gresini and Enea Bastianini on the other official Ducati, the best “non-Ducatist” is Brad Binder on the official KTM. We then find the other VR46 rider, Fabio di Giannantonio, as well as the two Aprilias of Miguel Oliveira and Maverick Vinales. One time ranked 18th after a clash with Johann Zarco, Pedro Acosta finished 10th on the KTM of the Tech3 team.
