MultiVersus has released a video teasing the arrival of a new skin for Finn from Adventure Time, giving the character his famous robotic arm and the Night Sword. After a long hiatus, MultiVersus‘ return is getting closer. Warner Bros. Interactive’s fighting game will be relaunched on May 28, promising new content such as expanding the list of skins available.

Before the hiatus, MultiVersus players could obtain gold and Gleamium, and progress through the battle pass to unlock skins for their favorite characters. Each MultiVersus fighter had an average of three skins that players could equip. One of the fighters on the roster with three skins is Finn the Human, who, in addition to the default appearance, has been given the skins Pajama Finn, Ugly Sweater Finn, and Fern, his doppelganger who was born from the breaking of the Grass Sword. With the release of a new teaser, MultiVersus hints that it will finally add a skin highly requested by its players.

MultiVersus may be on hold until it fully launches next year, but including iconic characters from Cartoon Network could ensure its return hits hard.

As noticed by the Twitter user and MultiVersus leaker AusilMV, a promotional video released for the MultiVersus and NHL Face-Off event showed the Adventure Time protagonist with his mechanical arm that appears in later seasons of the Cartoon Network animated series. In addition, Finn appears holding the Night Sword, one of the favorite weapons of Adventure Time fans. It’s worth noting that players have been asking for the addition of Finn’s robotic arm skin since the game’s launch, giving the powerful MultiVersus character one of his most iconic looks and weapons.

MultiVersus Teases New Skins and More Exciting Content

In addition to the video showing the new skin for Finn, MultiVersus fans were able to check out other gameplay videos confirming that parries are now part of the game’s mechanics. But the sneak peek of a new skin for Finn isn’t the only thing revealed by Warner Bros. Interactive. Previously, MultiVersus released a teaser with cel-shaded looks for five characters, with the fighting game’s Community Manager confirming that they are indeed new skins. The video also showed the stage based on Dexter’s Laboratory, making fans even more excited about the arrival of the long-awaited stage.

The release of MultiVersus drew attention for revealing a Super Smash Bros. clone with the interesting proposal of pitting beloved characters from Warner properties against each other.
