Matchday Program – A word from CEO Pierre Locht: “Finish 2023 well to stay in touch with the top 6”

”Dear supporters,

On this day of Walloon shock, we all hope to experience a quality match in a warm atmosphere as only Sclessin can offer. This type of meeting is an opportunity for our supporters to fully express their passion for the club but this must always remain within the limits of non-violence. These limits were unfortunately crossed during the round of 16 of the Cup in Anderlecht on December 7, as too often in recent years.

Unable to prevent these excesses and with a view to avoiding excessively heavy and frequent sanctions for all our supporters, we have taken strong measures jointly with the RSCA.

We sincerely hope that these measures will be sufficient and will not have to be extended to other meetings. In our difficult but still very real quest to qualify for playoffs 1, we need the support of our fans in every match. We want at all costs to avoid having to play matches in empty stadiums… which are the opposite of the very purpose of football: to bring people together.

As the second part of the season begins soon, our teams are each fighting for their goals. The Femina and futsal flirt with the top of the ranking, while SL16FC continues its rise and is no longer in a relegation position. Our men's pennant team will have to finish well this year 2023 to stay in contact with the top 6. And this starts with a victory this Saturday evening in a (very) hot atmosphere but without risk for everyone present. .”
