This success of the Mosans leaves them alive in this series, one unit from Marloie and three from Gouvy before a final day which will offer the following meetings: Seraing B – Marloie, Mormont – Wanze/Bas-Oha and Gouvy – Longlier . And all this without managing to double the gap while Gouvy only showed himself to be truly dangerous on an overly crossed try from F. Burton.
In short, the kind of scenario that makes you fear an equalizer on the first real opponent's response.
And that's what almost happened from the restart when Alain Colomberotto's players inherited a penalty kick after a handball from Martinet. But F. Burton kicked the penalty over the bar. Before seeing his brother shake the crossbar in turn and even twice.
This shows that everything was possible in this part, especially since Marloie continued to threaten a very inspired Regnier via Lambert or Hanneuse.
