Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom: Best Goblin Glider Build

This guide explains how to build a goblin glider, a vehicle in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that is useful for traversing large distances.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom players have built some amazing contraptions using the game’s Ultrahand ability, including a variety of vehicles that make traversing Hyrule a breeze. The “goblin glider” is one such vehicle, and fans who want to take their exploration to the next level should definitely consider building one. This guide is here to assist with that endeavor, and details on how to build a perfectly-aligned goblin glider in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can be found below.

As has already been indicated,
proper alignment
is key when assembling a goblin glider. To achieve that alignment, players should
avoid touching their joysticks
during assembly and rely solely on the d-pad. Additionally, fans should look to build on
flat ground
, as rough terrain makes it difficult to correctly align

Players who want to create a goblin glider will need to have three components on hand. Specifically, fans will need two Fans and one Steering Stick, and those components can be obtained from many of the Zonai Device Dispensers in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. For example, the dispenser at the Hudson Construction Site to the west of Tarrey Town has a chance to dispense both Fans and Steering Sticks, and players should follow these steps to turn them into a goblin glider:

1.

Set “aim with motion controls” to “disabled” in options. This will make it easier to align the components properly.

2.

Take out a Fan.

  • Grab it with Ultrahand.
  • Rotate it down twice.
  • Hold up on the d-pad to push it forward.
  • Release it.

3.

Take out a Steering Stick.

  • Grab it with Ultrahand.
  • Hold up on the d-pad to push it forward.
  • Release it before coming into contact with the Fan.

4.

Take out a Fan.

  • Grab it with Ultrahand.
  • Rotate it down twice.
  • Release it.

5.

Grab the Steering Stick with Ultrahand.

  • Rotate it down once.
  • Rotate it right twice.
  • Press up and down on the d-pad to find the maximum distance for attaching it to the far Fan.
  • Attach it.

6.

Grab the Steering Stick with Ultrahand.

  • Press up and down on the d-pad to find the maximum distance for attaching it to the close Fan.
  • Attach it.

After completing this process, players should make sure to set the goblin glider as a favorite within the Autobuild menu. Indeed, while it is not extremely difficult to put together this build, recreating it from scratch every time can definitely be tedious. The same could be said for hoverbikes in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and players may want to try out one of those vehicles after they have spent some time with their new gliders.
