Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.12% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the added 1.12%.

The best performers of the session on the were OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:), which rose 7.22% or 194.00 points to trade at 2,880.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:) added 6.15% or 290.00 points to end at 5,002.00 and Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:) was up 4.58% or 84.00 points to 1,919.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Camtek Ltd (TASE:), which fell 7.21% or 2,220.00 points to trade at 28,580.00 at the close. Nova (TASE:) declined 5.80% or 3,770.00 points to end at 61,220.00 and NICE Ltd (TASE:) was down 4.33% or 3,820.00 points to 84,300.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Shares in OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:) rose to 52-week highs; up 7.22% or 194.00 to 2,880.00.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.51% or 0.42 to $82.32 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.44% or 0.38 to hit $87.38 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.56% or 13.25 to trade at $2,333.15 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was unchanged 0.08% to 3.77, while EUR/ILS rose 0.35% to 4.03.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 105.57.
