How to Jam in Fortnite

When Fortnite‘s Festival game mode was introduced in December 2023 so were Jam Tracks. This item allowed players to acquire some of their favorite real-life songs and play them in Fortnite Festival or even during a Battle Royale match. Although they’re not like emotes, as fans will play along to them instead of dancing, they can be used similarly.

Here is how players can complete every challenge in Cerberus’s Snapshot questline.

This guide will show players how they can jam in Fortnite Battle Royale so that they can show off their favorite Jam Tracks to their friends as well as their in-game enemies.

How to Jam

Before trying to complete the quests, players must learn how to jam in Fortnite. When fans received the “Jam at Restored Reels’s stage and Slumberyard’s dancefloor” quest, many couldn’t complete it because they tried to emote instead of jamming.

To jam in Fortnite, players have to open the emote wheel and select one of the Jam Tracks in the Locker Jam Loops or the Jam Loops sections. Their character will then grab the selected instrument and start rocking out to the player’s preferred Jam Track.

Restored Reels Stage Location

To complete Chapter 5 Season 2’s Weekly Quest, players will have to find the stage at Restored Reels and jam on it. Gamers must find the stage’s precise location in order to actually finish the quest.

Thankfully, Restored Reels is a named location in the center of the map, so gamers won’t have any trouble locating it. Players will find an amphitheater on the western part of Restored Reels, and in its center, they will see a stage with a sound system and a makeshift mixing table; they have to get on stage and select a Jam Track for it to count towards quest progression.

Slumberyard Dance Floor Location

Slumberyard is a landmark in the northeastern corner of the Battle Royale map, north of Grand Glacier and east of Classy Courts. This former lumberyard was transformed into an edgy nightclub.

To complete the Weekly Quest, players will have to jam on Sumbleryard’s dance floor. The speakers and the DJ table are facing south, but that’s not where the dance floor is located. The dance floor in the Slumberyard landmark is the area next to the mixing area, with paint scattered all over the floor – jam here to complete the quest.
