Sea of Bygone Eras, also often referred to as Remuria, is a Genshin Impact area released in version 4.6. The place is supposedly located under Petrichor, but in the Genshin Impact map, the area is located in a separate section from the mainland of Teyvat, similar to Enkanomiya and players’ private abode of the Serenitea Pot.
Players can unlock the Sea of Bygone Eras by following the Canticles of Harmony quest in Genshin Impact Petrichor. Once Travelers complete their journey with the mysterious feline companion, they can return to the ancient underwater civilization and explore the beauty it has to offer. How To Get The Chest Inside Auric Anglerfish In Genshin Impact
Auric Anglerfish in Genshin Impact carries a chest inside its mouth, but if players try to approach it, the golden robot fish will close its mouth, making it impossible to take this Sea of Bygone Eras chest in Genshin Impact. Fortunately, there’s actually a way to take this treasure, and that can be done by using the Might of the Ancient symphony ability, which unlocks when players first arrive at the Faded Castle, the area beneath Petrichor.
To get the chest inside Auric Anglerfish’s mouth in Genshin Impact, players simply need to sneak behind the golden fish, and then press/tap their Might of the Ancient symphony ability once they’re close enough to the Anglerfish’s tail. To summarize, the press/tap of the Might of the Ancient symphony is used to stop interactable objects in the Sea of Bygone Eras and Faded Castle area, where as the hold version will cause things to move. Therfore, stopping the fish robot canbe done with the press/tap version of the ability.
However, be careful of being caught as the fish will be alert and close its mouth if it notices you. The light on the robot’s head will turn red if it’s on alert mode, but will return to yellow a few seconds later, as long as you swim a little further.
Typically, the Auric Anglerfish carries an Exquisite chest inside its mouth, but there are also special spots where the fishes are watching over a higher tier chest, along with some puzzles that involve Washer Octopuses. Like the Auric Anglerfish, the Washer Octopus is another marine animal that players can find in the Sea of Bygone Eras. However, unlike the robot fish who don’t seem to enjoy the Travelers’ company, Washer Octopuses gladly cooperate with the players, sometimes even requiring your help to free their friends. Of course, as a reward for assisting them with various tasks, players will earn themselves a Genshin Impact chest, starting from low-tier to top-tier ones.
