Havas Paris, the Macronie com advisor farm

In the Havas premises, the same excitement reigns with each redesign. It's time for major migrations: some consultants join ministerial offices as communications advisors while others take the opposite path and return home. At the beginning of January, the name of Mayada Boulos, executive president of Havas Paris, is on everyone's lips. The one who is often described as the “big sister” of Gabriel Attal since François Hollande's campaign in 2012 has been tipped to become a government spokesperson. His name is on the WhatsApp loops of the small political-media world.

The Prime Minister did offer the position to this relative… who ultimately declined. « After the departure of Marlène Schiappa at Tilder (a consulting firm), if Mayada Boulos had been appointed, we would have been in a perfect fusion between the communication companies and the political environment”, analyzes an old hand of influence. And if the links between these two worlds have always been close, Havas has almost theorized them.

Because, like Mayada Boulos, recruited by Havas after four and a half years in the office of Marisol Touraine in Social Affairs and Health then released for a two-year collaboration with Jean Castex as spin doctor (in short, special advisor in charge of communications), many advisors move from one universe to another. “We even receive CVs from ministers”delights Stéphane Fouks, vice-president of Havaswithout revealing any names.
