Genshin Impact Leak Teases 5 TCG Character Cards for Version 4.7

A new leak from Genshin Impact is teasing five new Character Cards coming to Genius Invokation TCG with the Version 4.7 update, including popular characters like Furina and Wriothesley. The in-game trading card game for the HoYoverse RPG has served as one of its most successful alternative game modes, allowing players to build decks and battle others with their favorite characters. Genshin Impact has regularly updated Genius Invokation TCG with new cards, more challenges, and even entirely new game types. Now, a plethora of characters are coming with the card game’s next update.

Character Cards serve as the most important part of a player’s deck within Genius Invokation TCG, serving as the backbone of their strategy. When building a deck, players choose three Genshin Impact characters to serve as their main units, with a wide range of more than 80 characters to choose from. Each Character Card also comes with their own unique Talent card players can use to boost up their character during a match, providing unique and powerful buffs to the character’s skills. Now, five new characters are joining Genius Invokation TCG’s next update.

Genshin Impact Leaks 5 Genius Invokation TCG Character Cards

A new leak shared by prominent HoYoverse leaker Dim is teasing the five character cards coming to Genius Invokation TCG during Genshin Impact‘s Version 4.7. Version 4.7 is set to feature two of Fontaine’s most popular five-star characters seeing their introduction to the TCG, with Furina and Wriothesley becoming playable. The update will also include a mix of fan-favorite four-star characters from Liyue and Sumeru, with Xinyan, Kaveh, and Yun Jin all being added to the TCG. No details were given about the characters’ Skills or Talents within Genius Invokation TCG.

While the Genshin Impact leak did not detail any characters’ abilities, Genius Invokation TCG characters tend to fit into similar niches to their Genshin Impact counterparts. Furina will likely utilize summons based on her Elemental Skill, dealing passive Hydro damage to an opponent’s characters. Wriothesley will likely play a main damage role, while other characters like Xinyan and Yun Jin are expected to play more supportive roles in the TCG. Genius Invokation TCG’s newest update will launch with Version 4.7, currently rumored to release on June 5.

The addition of a new set of Character Cards to Genius Invokation TCG comes during a patch expected to feature plenty of new content for Genshin Impact. Version 4.7 will introduce a trio of new characters, including the long-awaited Clorinde, to the game’s playable roster, alongside a rumored update to the game’s Archon Quest. Endgame content will also reportedly see several updates in Version 4.7, including revamped rewards for the Spiral Abyss.
