Elise Mertens (WTA 30) will not be at the Olympic Games in Paris this summer. The 28-year-old Limbourgeoise declared this herself to the Belga agency on Tuesday evening, following her 6-1, 4-6, 6-0 victory in the first round of the WTA 500 tournament on clay in Stuttgart against the German Tatjana Maria (WTA 66).
