Falling Guillotine Overview

Falling Guillotine Overview

Falling Guillotine is a Vortex Frame Sword that has Void affinity. Vortex Frame Swords are a fan-favorite archetype in the game thanks to their unique ability to perform a spinning motion that kills all nearby enemies. The Falling Guillotine has two main rolls to look out for this time around. One roll is focused around Eager Edge, while the other is focused on DPS and getting the maximum damage possible out of this amazing weapon.

DPS God Roll

We have to focus on the perks that increase our damage as well as the magazine and barrel options that increase our Impact stat. For this purpose, we will use Jagged Edge as the barrel option as it increases the user’s Impact stat by +4. The magazine option is entirely up to user preference.

In the left column, Vorpal Weapon and Frenzy are the two damage-dealing perks. Vorpal Weapon offers a 10% damage boost, while Frenzy offers a 15% damage bonus if players are in combat for at least 12 seconds. In the right column, we have Whirlwind Blade and Surrounded. Whirlwind Blade continuously increases damage by 30% as you use the weapon. Surrounded requires players to be surrounded by combatants, but provides a 35% damage increase in this scenario.

The perk combination of Vorpal Weapon and Whirlwind Blade is more reliable and will give players extra damage in every situation. On the other hand, Frenzy and Surrounded will provide a bigger damage bonus, but this combination is harder to take advantage of.

Eager Edge Roll

Eager Edge is a fan-favorite perk that allows players to gain increased Sword lunge distance after immediately switching to this weapon, allowing them to perform some incredible movement tricks. Eager Edge is present in the right column, so for the rest of the perks, players should increase the damage as much as possible. In the left column, Frenzy and Vorpal Weapon are the best options, with Jagged Edge as the barrel option.
