Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.47% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 0.47%.

The best performers of the session on the were GN Store Nord (CSE:), which rose 4.13% or 6.85 points to trade at 172.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:) added 3.16% or 28.40 points to end at 927.60 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:) was up 2.62% or 240.00 points to 9,385.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Oersted AS (CSE:), which fell 1.10% or 4.30 points to trade at 385.10 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) declined 0.61% or 3.50 points to end at 570.00 and Tryg A/S (CSE:) was down 0.59% or 0.80 points to 135.90.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 67 to 67 and 22 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.30% or 0.25 to $82.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.14% or 0.12 to hit $87.23 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.41% or 9.85 to trade at $2,407.85 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.18% to 7.00, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 105.82.
