However, they were joined by Aston Villa, who scored before (Ollie Watkins, 45th + 1) and after (Moussa Diaby, 52nd) the break. From a penalty, El Kaabi put Olympiakos back in front (56th) and Santiago Hezze (67th) scored a fourth goal. The Villans had the opportunity to come back to within a goal but Douglas Luiz missed a penalty (84th).
