Martínez (31) received his second yellow card during the penalty shootout of the quarter-final second leg against Lille. But as cards received during regulation time and extra time do not count during penalties, the referee did not send him off.
However, the two yellow cards were counted towards the total number of cards received by the goalkeeper. Since he also received a yellow card in the first leg against Lille, he is now on three bookings.
