Between the intense combat and the sci-fi story, Stellar Blade also makes plenty of room for puzzles that are designed to test the player’s skills of observation and recognizing contextual clues. Indeed, some of the areas in the game can be missed if players are not attentive, which could mean they either miss out on worthwhile goodies or find their story progression blocked.

One of the earlier puzzles that will require players to rack their brains appears on Eidos 7, with a seemingly locked gate requiring a password that doesn’t come on a memorystick of a fallen human. Solving the Clocktower Puzzle in Stellar Blade

After overcoming the threat of the Flooded Commercial Area on Eidos 7, players will be able to see their objective of the Hall of Records within touching distance. Of course, Stellar Blade would not make things that easy, with one more gate standing in the way of players crossing the vast gap that leads to the key building.

With the aerial route blocked due to falling debris, the next course of action is to open up the locked gate. Alas, there are no useful memorysticks to be found. After interacting with the gate in question, Adam will scan the signage above with the drone and reveal the solution has something to do with time. It all makes sense now why a giant clocktower was visible as Eve arrived in the area.

Get rid of any surrounding Naytiba, and climb up high to get a clearer view of the clocktower if you have not. You should be able to see the time it is currently displaying. This corresponds to the four-digit code that can open up the gate. The hands of the clock can be confusing, so the solution is not 0502 but 1225 instead.

Enter that at the keypad, and the door will swing open, allowing you to progress further into the city and take another step towards entering the Hall of Records.
