Chinese GP: Norris on sprint pole after a crazy qualifying!

A time deprived of his best time, Lando Norris (McLaren) was declared poleman for the sprint in a certain confusion, the race direction having decided to be magnanimous in view of the conditions. With a time of 1:57.940, the Briton was 1.2 seconds behind his closest pursuer, a certain Lewis Hamilton who put in a very good performance given his poor equipment.

Five world championship titles appear on the second row with Fernando Alonso, brilliant on his Aston Martin, ahead of Max Verstappen who must be content with fourth time. Carlos Sainz, 5th, is once again the best Ferrari driver ahead of Sergio Pérez (Red Bull). Followed by Charles Leclerc, Oscar Piastri (McLaren), Valtteri Bottas (Sauber) and Guanyu Zhou (Sauber), 10th for his national event.

You will have to get up at 4:40 a.m. to follow the sprint race this Saturday.
