Bolton is the second best scorer in the league with his 17.7 points average behind Leuven player Tyreke Key. The American from the Giants also adds 3.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists on average to his statistics to lead Antwerp to 2nd place behind Ostend.
Tumba, his Liège teammate Angel Rodriguez and Limburg United player Osunniyi Osunbowale are nominated for the Defender of the Year award.
As for the Coach of the Year award, the three nominees are Dario Gjergja, leading Oostende's renewed dominance in the league, Raymond Westphalen, Belgian Cup winner with Limburg United, and Sam Rotsaert, Cup finalist with Charleroi.
The BNXT League also revealed on Wednesday the nominees for the categories of best prospect (Joppe Mennes, Jo Van Buggenhout and Siebe Ledegen) and best sixth man (Troisfontaines, Nikola Jovanovic and Roeland Schaftenaar).
The various prizes will be awarded during a ceremony scheduled for Monday. A Belgian and a Dutchman will be rewarded per category with the exception of the title of MVP, defender of the year and sixth man of the year. The best five of the season will also be revealed during the ceremony.
