Destiny 2 offers a variety of Weapons and ability options that synergize extremely well with each other. Other than that, to keep things fresh there are regular sandbox updates as well as Artifact perks each season. There are also Exotic weapons and armor which bring new and unique things to the build.
With the recent Into the Light update, Bungie released a new horde-mode activity called Onslaught, which is one of the hardest activities on Legend difficulty and is a true test of whether player builds are good or not.
Destiny 2: Falling Guillotine God Rolls
Falling Guillotine returns to Destiny 2, bringing along a fresh batch of powerful perks that can help the player demolish their enemies.
Touch of Malice
Touch of Malice is an Exotic Scout Rifle that drops from the final encounter of King’s Fall raid as an RNG drop. It comes with the Exotic Trait, which allows the weapon to remain at 1 ammo in the magazine indefinitely, dealing bonus damage at the cost of health. Touch of Malice also regenerates health upon rapidly defeating 3 targets.
It also comes with an Exotic Trait called Charged with Blight, which allows Touch of Malice to fire a Blight Projectile upon getting Precision hits prior. The Blight Projectile then damages enemy combatants as well as temporarily blinds them.
Voidwalker
To fully utilize Touch of Malice we must take advantage of the final shot of the weapon, which comes at the cost of our health. So we need a build that gives us constant healing so we are not left in a vulnerable position while using this weapon.
Void subclass on Warlock is the best option for Touch of Malice thanks to it providing us with Devour. Devour is a Void subclass verb that provides us with health as well as Grenade energy when we get kills from any source. So the basic gameplay loop will be us getting kills with the high damage provided from Touch of Malice’s final shot and getting healing thanks to Devour activating.
For this build, we will use Vortex Grenade as our Grenade choice and Empowering Rift as our class ability.
Destiny 2: Edge Transit God Rolls
Edge Transit is a great weapon, with even better perks. Here are the god rolls you should be looking for when farming the weapon in Destiny 2
Aspects
The Voidwalker Aspects that we will use are:
- Feed the Void: Defeat a target with a Void ability to activate Devour. Devour also has increased benefits while players have Feed the Void equipped, giving full health on every kill they get.
- Child of the Old Gods: Cast the rift to create a Void Soul. When players damage a target with a weapon, their Void Soul flies to them and drains them, doing damage and weakening them. When a target is being drained, players are granted grenade and melee energy (if running healing rift) or health (if running empowering rift).
Fragments
The Fragments we will use for this build are:
- Echo of Persistence: Void buffs applied to you (Invisibility, Overshield, and Devour) have increased duration. Also provides +10 Recovery.
- Echo of Harvest: Defeating weakened targets creates an Orb of Power and a Void Breach. Give a -10 Intellect penalty.
- Echo of Starvation: Picking up a Void Breach or an Orb of Power grants Devour. Comes with a -10 Recovery penalty.
- Echo of Remnants: Your lingering Grenades (Vortex Grenade, Void Wall, Void Spike, and Axion Bolt) have increased duration.
Exotic – Secant Filaments
Secant Filaments is a Leg Exotic for Warlocks that is focused on Empowering Rifts and Devour. It comes with the Exotic Perk called “Devouring Rift” which allows players to obtain Devour whenever they cast an Empowering Rift.
Damage dealt by players and their allies from within their Empowering Rift while they have Secant Filaments equipped will also disrupt combatants, providing them with anti-Overload capabilities against Overload Champions.
Destiny 2: Blast Furnace God Rolls
Blast Furnace has returned, and it’s already taken back its spot at the top of Destiny 2’s long list of Pulse Rifles.

Gameplay Loop
The Gameplay Loop for this build is quite simple yet extremely effective and damaging. Players will start by shooting 10 rounds of Touch of Malice till they reach the final round and activate the Exotic perk of the weapon. (Extra damage at the cost of their health).
Now, players will put down an Empowering Rift, which will instantly give them Devour as well as a 20 percent damage bonus while they are in an Empowering Rift. They will also have a Child of the Old Gods orbiting them.
Shoot the weapon into a group of enemies. Child of the Old Gods will go and attach itself to that group of combatants, weakening them. Now shoot down the weakened enemies with Touch of Malice which is getting extra damage from Empowering Rift.
The health lost will be regenerated from Devour.
Upon killing enemies, players will also generate Orbs and Void Breaches which will also provide them with Devour as well as a further 20 percent damage boost thanks to the Kinetic Weapon Surge mods they are using. Now players have an infinite supply of Devour to top their health, about 40 percent extra damage bonus that is always active, and an Exotic perk activated Touch of Malice.
