The Watducks absolutely needed the victory to stay in contention for the play-off. However, the Brabançonnes missed their start to the match. Braxgata scored on its second opportunity after 149 seconds. Van Dieren's deviation above D'Hooghe was precise. Braxgata forced himself by causing his first pc for a Blockmans kick. The Red Panther stopped Pessina's sleep on the line. On a very quick counter, Van Dieren shot at a moving ball to meet a shot which crashed against the post. For eight minutes, the Watducks was not there. Then, the Greens left their half, notably causing two pc: one for Blockmans, one for Breyne. They didn't give anything. The Watducks were much more offensive but Sotgiu was still watching the ball from afar.
The second quarter resumed with too weak defense from the Brabançonnes who let the Boomoises play the counterattack as in training. Scheers' deflection into the top corner was worth the detour (0-2). In the 22nd minute, the Watducks confirmed their defensive passivity by letting Ikegwuonu play against D'Hooghe (0-3). The Watducks reacted on their 3rd pc with this sleep from Blockmans which Sotgiu repelled. There remained a class gap between the two teams. In the 31st minute, Limauge came out limping following a heavy contact. Then, Pessina fell after taking a hit from t'Serstevens' stick. Ice cubes were put on her head, but she remained conscious. The Watducks inherited a stroke because she had deprived t'Serstevens of a shot. Blockmans scored (1-3).
After only 27 seconds in the second period, the Brax obtained their 2epc. Lien Hillewaert took a shot from Delhalle on his foot. She went out limping. Time had stopped again. A toe was affected. Lacina took a 10-minute yellow. Brax lost Pessina in the first period, then Hillewaert in the third quarter and this 10-minute yellow. The match changed its spirit. Lhopital had a very well placed shot on the glove side of Sotgiu (2-3). The Brax was suffering because of his injuries. Hillewaert, limping a little, returned to the field.
