Basketball Champions League: Malaga registers its name on the list for the first time

Malaga therefore wins the Champions League for the first time in its history and becomes the third Spanish club to register its name on the list since the creation of the competition in 2017. Tenerife (2017, 2022) and Burgos (2020, 2021) each count two coronations. Antwerp finished in third place in 2019 during the Final Four held at the Sportpaleis.

In the match for third place, Murcia completed an all-Spanish podium by winning 87-84 against the Greeks of Peristeri. Ludving Hakanson finished as the top scorer of the match for the Spaniards with 22 points. On the Greek side, Joe Ragland's 24 points were not enough to tip the scales for Peristeri.
