A rescue operation was launched on Thursday at 10.42am when a diver was reported to be presenting mild symptoms of decompression sickness.
The diving accident happened in the Zinovia shipwreck area.
The Larnaca search and rescue coordination centre sent a port and marine police speedboat to the point and the diver was then handed over to the ambulance crew.
The diver reached Larnaca general hospital at 11.25am and was admitted for further treatment.
