WTA Rome: Aryna Sabalenka plays Danielle Collins and joins Iga Swiatek in the final

In the second set, the Belarusian jumped straight to 3-0 and did not concede any break points. She concluded the game on Collins' serve.

Sabalenka will meet the Polish Iga Swiatek in the final. The world No.1 beat the American Coco Gauff (WTA 3) 6-4, 6-3 in the afternoon.

The two players will face each other for the 11th time in their careers, the 5th in a final. Swiatek has won 7 duels, including 3 in the final, notably this year in Madrid.

Sabalenka, 26, will be aiming for the 15th title of her career, the second of the season after her coronation at the Australian Open.

Swiatek, 22, has 20 titles to his name, including three won this year, in Doha, Indian Wells and Madrid.
