Police have arrested a 53-year-old woman in connection with a case of usurping Greek Cypriot property in the north.
The woman was arrested at Larnaca airport on Friday, on arrival from abroad.
According to Reporter, she was found to possess evidence, which was confiscated for further investigation.
On Saturday morning, she was taken before the Nicosia district court, which issued a six-day remand order.
The 53-year-old is facing charges of conspiracy to commit a felony, conspiracy to commit extortion and fraudulent dealings in immovable property belonging to another person.
Police headquarters are investigating.
