(WGHP) — The leftovers are in the fridge, the dishes are washed, and now it’s time to waddle to the car to get those Black Friday deals!
It’s a cold start with temperatures hovering near freezing, but with sunny skies, we’ll have highs near 50 today. Shoppers should be prepared for breezy conditions, producing wind chills in the lower 40s at times. Â
Clear, cold conditions are ahead for tonight. Lows are going to plunge into the lower 20s!
We will see a veil of thin, cirrus clouds developing Saturday afternoon with highs in the upper 40s. Sunday, highs return to 50 under partly cloudy skies. Â
As the new work week begins, be prepared for bitterly cold air to sweep across the Piedmont. We’ll have sunny to mostly sunny skies Monday through Thursday.Â
Highs are going to squeak up to the lower 40s Monday and Tuesday, but low temperatures will be the bigger shock, falling into the lower 20s to upper-teens Tuesday morning. A modest warm-up begins Wednesday as highs climb back to the upper 40s and eventually reach the upper 50s on Thursday.
